0 <br />hazardous waste tank assessment report for the residential used oil tank. The requested <br />amendments included the following: <br />1. Provide signatory statement as described in Title 22 California Code of Regulations, <br />Section 66270.11 (22CCR§66270.11); <br />2. Verify tank system is anchored to prevent dislodgment; <br />3. Measure tank thickness; <br />4. Describe tank system piping; <br />5. Estimate remaining service life of tank; and, <br />6. Test tank system integrity and document test results in the hazardous waste tank <br />assessment report. <br />On March 28, 2012, John Boll and Mike Blankinship visited WMI's transfer station in Lodi, <br />California to address each recommended amendment described in Mr. Cacapit's inspection <br />report summarized as follows: <br />I. Provide sianatory statement as described 22CCR§66270 11(d) <br />Response: Refer to signatory page of this amendment. <br />2. Verify tank system is anchored to prevent dislod nent,22CCR&66265.192(a)(5)(Bl <br />Response: Tank system is anchored to prevent dislodgement and movement within the <br />secondary containment system. Two straps surrounding the cylindrical tank are fastened <br />with nuts and bolts to saddles located within the square shaped secondary containment <br />system. Refer to Attachment A- Photo Log, Photos 1-3 (time dated photos). <br />3. Measure tank thickness 22CCR&66265.192(k)(2)(B) <br />Response: The tank is made of 0.25 inch steel. The thickness of the steel was measured <br />in the field on March 28, 2012 using a measuring tape, model # 33-430 manufactured by <br />Stanley. <br />4. Describe tank system Piping 22CCR&66265 192(kl(2)(Cl <br />Response: There is no piping associated with the Residential Used Oil tank. Used oil is <br />manually poured into an opening on the top of the tank.
