Spec No. CGT-TRACY-UST-01-2003 <br /> General Requirements <br /> 01010-4 <br /> A. Information: Bidding shall be in accordance with the Invitation To Bid Letter. Contractor shall <br /> complete and submit the Proposal Form transmitted with the Invitation To Bid Letter. <br /> 1. Bidder is requested to submit with the Proposal the following information: <br /> a. Information requested by General Conditions. <br /> b. Any exceptions taken by Bidder to the General Conditions. <br /> B. Information After Award of Contract: In addition to all submittal required by this Specification, <br /> Contractor is required to provide the following information after award of Contract: <br /> 1. Information requested by General Conditions. <br /> 2. Cost Segregation <br /> a. Within seven (7) working days of Notification of Award, Contractor shall submit to PG&E an <br /> itemized segregation, per Paragraph 13.6 of the General Conditions,for the cost of Work <br /> under each lump-sum price quoted in the Proposal Form. This segregation shall appear in <br /> the Construction Specification Institute (CSI) 16 Division format as shown in Exhibit"8" <br /> titled "Schedule of Prices" attached. The total shall equal the sum of each lump-sum price <br /> and include an allowance for profit, insurance, and overhead expense. Once approved, <br /> this breakdown shall become the basis for progress payments. <br /> b. Contractor shall also provide to PG&E an itemized segregation for the cost of work under <br /> each Contract Change Order(CCO) issued to this contract. This segregation shall appear <br /> in the same CSI 16 Division format as shown in Exhibit"8" attached. This segregation for <br /> the cost of work shall be submitted to PG&E within seven (7)working days of the execution <br /> of each CCO by PG&E. <br /> 3. Invoices and Contract Progress Estimates: All invoices and Contract progress estimates <br /> submitted for payment shall be forwarded to PG&E in accordance with General Conditions, <br /> Paragraph 13.3. <br /> 4. Cash Flow: In addition to the construction schedule and within (10 days)of notification of <br /> award, Contractor shall submit their estimate of billings for each month of the construction <br /> period. This shall be updated monthly and submitted with the progress billings. The format is <br /> at Contractor's option, but the monthly amounts must be shown. Whenever the actual <br /> payments for construction scheduled that month exceed the estimate by 20 percent or more, <br /> Contractor shall also provide an explanation for the variance with the billing. <br /> 1.04 CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS AND CONDUCT OF WORK <br /> A. General: Contractor's performance of Work hereunder shall be to the satisfaction of PG&E. <br /> Contractor shall provide a responsible person on-site to supervise the work. He will maintain an on- <br /> site presence throughout the duration of construction. Responsibility to complete and guarantee the <br /> Work as specified shall remain with Contractor. Contractor's work shall be carried out according to <br /> sound professional procedures and practice generally accepted within construction industry and <br /> jointly with other operations at the work site. <br /> B. Contractor shall fully inform itself of and shall comply with all laws, regulations, and orders of <br /> governmental authorities which may affect the conduct of the Work hereunder, particularly in regard <br /> to disposal of waste material and clearing or burning of combustible material.
