PG&E Personnel Working Conditions: Normal working conditions for PG&E personnel shall be <br /> maintained without disturbance as nearly as practicable. Work by Contractor that shall require <br /> disruptions of normal working conditions for PG&E personnel shall be indicated in the construction <br /> plan, and Contractor shall provide PG&E with its construction plan at least three (3) business days <br /> prior to any occupancy interference. Contractor's construction plan shall also disclose the nature <br /> and duration of the disruptions of normal working conditions. <br /> L. Cleanup: With respect to Contractor's own operation, Contractor shall maintain the Work site and <br /> related structures, equipment, and facilities in a clean, orderly condition during progress of the <br /> Work, and also clean up debris to the satisfaction of PG&E. If, in PG&E's opinion,the work site is <br /> hazardous due to Contractor's noncompliance, and if upon notice to correct the condition <br /> Contractor fails to do so, PG&E may stop the Work until cleanup is performed or order others to <br /> perform cleanup work and charge Contractor for this cleanup work. Building surfaces, including <br /> glass, shall be left clean. <br /> M. Overtime: Additional work shifts and overtime shall be authorized only in accordance with the <br /> General Conditions and approved by PG&E. <br /> N. Warranties: <br /> 1. In some instances specific guarantees and manufacturer's warranties are required in the <br /> Specific Conditions of this Specification. Such warranties are intended to supplement, not <br /> replace those required in the General Conditions. In the event of conflict,the longest or most <br /> stringent warranty requirement shall apply. Unless otherwise specified, repairs or replacements <br /> made under warranty shall carry the same warranty as the original equipment, material, or part, <br /> and the warranty period shall begin upon acceptance of the repair or replacement by PG&E. <br /> 2. Contractor shall assign to PG&E any warranties issued by outside equipment and material <br /> manufacturers and subcontractors. All warranties so assigned shall be in addition to and not in <br /> lieu of all warranties required under the terms of this Specification. <br /> O. Protection: Prior to commencing operations, Contractor shall adequately protect existing furniture, <br /> finishes, and equipment in the areas which may be affected by the construction work. Disposable <br /> plastic sheets or equivalent shall be placed over the workstations. All structures and buildings <br /> damaged during the performance of work under this Contract shall be repaired or replaced by the <br /> Contractor at Contractor's sole expense subject to acceptance of the repair or replacement by <br /> PG&E. All repair or replacements shall match existing materials and structures. <br /> P. Should Contractor suspect or detect hazardous materials during the performance of the Work <br /> specified, Contractor shall stop all work and notify PG&E immediately. Contractor and PG&E shall <br /> mutually agree as to the process to be utilized for resuming work. <br /> Q. Contractor shall use their best efforts to eliminate the need to operate 4 cycle or 2 <br /> cycle powered equipment at PG&E facilities on days when the local air district has <br /> declared a Spare the Air day or other air quality warning." <br /> 1.05 WORK SITE FACILITIES <br /> A. Water: Contractor will be allowed to use existing water facilities at the work site subject to such <br /> regulations as may be imposed by PG&E. <br /> B. Sanitary Facilities: Contractor will be allowed to use existing sanitary facilities at the work site <br /> subject to such regulations as may be imposed by PG&E. <br />
