Underground Storage Tank Monitoring Plan-Page 2 •
C. Pipeline Monitoring
Line monitoring is performed using the following methods: (Check all which apply)
® Continuous electronic monitoring of piping sump(s)/trench and other secondary containment low points.
Leak Sensor Manufacturer: EBW AUTO-STIK Model No.: LS3A
Will a piping leak alarm trigger automatic shutdown of the pump (i.e. turbine)? ® Yes; ❑ No.
Will failure/disconnection of monitoring system trigger automatic shutdown of pump? ❑ Yes; ® No.
® Mechanical line leak detector (MLLD) that routinely performs 3.0 g.p.h. leak tests and restricts or shuts off
product flow when a leak is detected.
MLLD Manufacturer: F.E. PETRO Model No.: 116-056
❑ Electronic line leak detector (ELLD)that routinely performs 3.0 g.p.h. leak tests.
ELLD Manufacturer: Model No.:
Programmed line tightness tests: ❑ Minimum Monthly 0.2 g.p.h.; ❑ Minimum Annual 0.1 g.p.h.
Will ELLD detection of a piping leak trigger automatic shutdown of the pump? ❑ Yes; ❑ No.
Will failure or disconnection of the ELLD trigger automatic shutdown of the pump? ❑ Yes; ❑ No.
® Line tightness testing conducted: ® Annually; ❑ Every 3 years; ❑ Other (specify):_N/A
® No product or remote-fill piping is connected to the UST(s).
❑ Piping is suction piping meeting all requirements for exemption from monitoring. [See 23 CCR§2636(a)(3)]
❑ Other (specify):
D. Dispenser Leak Detection: (Check all which apply)
❑No dispensers in system.
® Float and chain assembly in under-dispenser containment trips shear valve in case of leak.
Assembly Manufacturer: OPW Model No.: OP10AFS-5723
❑ Continuous electronic monitoring of under-dispenser containment.
Leak Sensor Manufacturer: Model No.:
Will a leak trigger audible and visual alarms? ❑ Yes; ❑No.
Will a leak alarm trigger automatic shutdown of the pump? ❑ Yes; ❑ No.
Will failure/disconnection of monitoring system trigger automatic shutdown of pump? ❑ Yes; ❑ No.
❑ Dispenser housings are opened and fittings inside are visually inspected daily for leaks (required if under-
dispenser containment is not installed).
❑ Other (specify):
E. Monitoring Locations
Included with this monitoring plan is a Site Plan which shows the general tank and piping layouts and the
locations where monitoring is performed(i.e. locations of sensors, line leak detectors, control panels, etc.).
