Continued heat stress can lead to heat stoke and death. Work shall follow <br /> provisions of the Heat Illness Prevention Plan that accompanies this HASP. <br /> 3.3 Site Excavations <br /> Site excavations created during initial site preparation or during material excavation will be <br /> shored or sloped as appropriate to prevent accidental collapse in accordance with 8 CCR, <br /> Chapter 4, Subchapter 4,Article 6,Section 1541 et seq. <br /> 3.4 Additional Physical Hazards <br /> Additional physical hazards associated with site operations may include slips,trips,and falls. <br /> Physical hazards will be reduced by adherence to WKA's or WKA's subcontractor's Injury <br /> Illness and Prevention Program(IIPP). <br /> 4.0 HASP IMPLEMENTATION <br /> The HASP will be made available to persons retained to assist WKA with site activities. It will <br /> also be made available for review by employees,employee designated representatives,and to <br /> personnel of any federal,state,or local agencies with regulatory authority over the site.
