4. Qualified service technicians must possess or work under the direct and personal <br />supervision of an individual physically present at the work site, at all times while work is <br />being performed, who possesses all of the following: <br />• One of several permissible valid, current contractor licenses issued by the <br />Contractors State License Board (may be issued to the installation company), <br />and <br />• A valid, current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the <br />International Code Council (ICC), and <br />• A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) <br />being tested, repaired, or serviced, additionally, <br />• Each person installing or testing any component must hold a certificate of training <br />from the manufacturer of that component. <br />5. All primary containment including any integral secondary containment system must be <br />certified by an independent testing organization and labeled as required by the <br />organization (Title 23 Chapter 16, 2631(b); (UL, ULC, ANSI, API, ASTM, etc. See Title <br />23 Chapter 16 Table B for complete list.) Pursuant to Underwriters Laboratories Inc (UL) <br />listing requirements, only those products bearing the UL mark will be considered listed. <br />ANY PART/PRODUCT NOT MARKED WITH THE UL LABEL OR ANOTHER LISTED <br />TESTING ORGANIZATION WILL BE REJECTED. All secondary containment system <br />which is not an integral part of the primary containment shall be designed and <br />constructed according to an engineering specification approved by a state registered <br />professional engineer or according to a nationally recognized industry code or <br />engineering standard (Title 23 Chapter 16, 2631(d)). <br />6. All tank's pre-installation tests shall be performed according to tank's <br />manufacturer instructions. Provide field-completed Containment Solutions, Inc. (CSI) <br />tank installation checklist(s) upon completion. (Completed) <br />u Verification of tank set, anchorage, backfill, and corrosion protection of tank anchors. <br />Corrosion protection on all exposed metal prior to covering (Completed) <br />▪ Pressure test of the primary UST(s) containment according to manufacturer's <br />specifications (Completed) <br />▪ Primary piping soap test of all piping and penetrations (product and vent): One-hour <br />pneumatic pressure test at 110% of operating pressure, or 40 psi, whichever is <br />greater. (Completed) <br />117 Secondary piping slope (at 1/8 inch per foot or greater) to a containment sump with <br />an audible/visual alarm. (Completed) <br />o Secondary piping soap test of all piping and penetrations (product and vent): One- <br />hour pneumatic pressure test at the manufacturer's recommended pressure. <br />(Completed) <br />LI Verification of pipe set backs and burial depth according to the manufacturer's <br />installation instructions.
