Subsurface Environmental Investigation September 22 , 1988
City of Lodi Corporation Yard, Lodi, California AGS 38064-1
BACKGROUND
Information provided by personnel of Town and Country and the
City of Lodi indicates that one 5, 000-gallon tank was used to
store diesel fuel and one 10, 000-gallon tank was used to store
unleaded gasoline. A former regular-leaded gasoline tank was
removed prior to our involvement with the site. We have no
information regarding sampling below that tank. A waste-oil tank
of unspecified volume is present east of the repair garage
building. The approximate locations of the tanks and tank
cavities relative to nearby site structures are shown on the
Generalized Site Plan (Plate P-2) .
Town and Country Contractors removed the tanks and was
responsible for permit acquisition and notification of the
appropriate authorities. Ms. Kasey Foley of the San Joaquin
Local Health District was present during removal of the tanks and
soil sampling.
FIELD INVESTIGATION
A geologist from Applied GeoSystems was present at the site on
September 19 , 1988 , to collect one soil sample from beneath the
2
Applied GeoSystems
