Subsurface Environmental Investigation September 22 , 1988 <br /> City of Lodi Corporation Yard, Lodi, California AGS 38064-1 <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> Information provided by personnel of Town and Country and the <br /> City of Lodi indicates that one 5, 000-gallon tank was used to <br /> store diesel fuel and one 10, 000-gallon tank was used to store <br /> unleaded gasoline. A former regular-leaded gasoline tank was <br /> removed prior to our involvement with the site. We have no <br /> information regarding sampling below that tank. A waste-oil tank <br /> of unspecified volume is present east of the repair garage <br /> building. The approximate locations of the tanks and tank <br /> cavities relative to nearby site structures are shown on the <br /> Generalized Site Plan (Plate P-2) . <br /> Town and Country Contractors removed the tanks and was <br /> responsible for permit acquisition and notification of the <br /> appropriate authorities. Ms. Kasey Foley of the San Joaquin <br /> Local Health District was present during removal of the tanks and <br /> soil sampling. <br /> FIELD INVESTIGATION <br /> A geologist from Applied GeoSystems was present at the site on <br /> September 19 , 1988 , to collect one soil sample from beneath the <br /> 2 <br /> Applied GeoSystems <br />
