' GeosyntecO <br /> consultants <br /> ' Organonitrogen, organochlorine, and organophosphorous pesticide analyses are not <br /> included in the analytical suite, and chlorinated herbicides have only been included in <br /> the analytical suite for the former North Pond Area based on the following: <br /> • During the soil sampling prior to cap installation,organonitrogen pesticides were <br /> analyzed but were not detected. Only one organophosphorous pesticide and <br /> chlorinated herbicide compound were detected and both were at low levels in <br /> shallow soil samples (<6 ft bgs). Organochlorine pesticides were only detected <br /> at low levels in shallow soil samples(<6 ft bgs)(Sierra-Pacific, 1995). <br /> • Organophosphorous and organochlorine pesticides were not previously detected <br /> in groundwater monitoring at the Site(Sierra-Pacific,2002). <br /> • Chlorinated herbicides have not been detected in the vicinity of the former South <br /> Pond Area, but have been detected in monitoring wells downgradient from the <br /> ' former North Pond Area. <br /> 3.4 Ouatity Assurance/Ouality Control <br /> The following quality assurance/quality control samples will be collected: <br /> • Trip blanks prepared by the analytical laboratory will be shipped with each <br /> cooler to the laboratory for VOCs analysis. <br /> ' • One field blank will be collected by pouring reagent-grade deionized water <br /> provided by the laboratory into sample containers at the Site.
