OIL STORAGE CONTAINERS (40 CFR 112.7(a)(3)(i))
Fixed Oil Storage Containers
There are three active ASTs at the subject site (AST-I through AST-3). Tank AST-1 is a single-walled
steel AST and tanks AST-2 and AST-3 are double-walled ASTs constructed of steel. Tank AST-1 is
located to the east of the shop building. Tanks AST-2 and ASTA are located inside the shop building in
the southeast comer of the building. The capacities of fixed oil storage containers present at the site are
summarized in Table A below and the location of each oil storage container is shown on Figure 2. A
technical amendment to this SPCC Plan is required if any existing tanks at this facility become
permanently closed or if new active tanks are installed at the facility. The SPCC Plan must be
amended and recertified by an engineer during the technical amendment. Any fixed container
storing oil in quantities of 55 gallons or more is listed on the table.
Table A— Fixed Oil Storage Containers
Storage
I0 Capacity Contents Location Comments
(gallons
AST-1 10000e r''" x,' Diesef' . , EasFor'f'sFiop building- Horizontal AST
AST-2 110 Motor Oil Shop building Cube AST
. Inactive tanks must
not be used to store petroleum products while present at the VFT Stockton Terminal facility.
Permanently closed tanks are exempt from the SPCC regulations of 40 CFR 112. A technical
amendment to this SPCC Plan is required if any existing tanks at this facility become permanently
closed or if a permanently closed tank becomes active. The SPCC Plan must be amended and
recertified by an engineer during the technical amendment.
Portable Oil Storage Containers
Four 55-gallon steel drums containing petroleum products are located inside the shop building.
