Copies of files providedito Levine-Fricke by the <br /> SJCAC indicate that notices have been provided to the Commission <br /> 11 pertaining to the application of two pesticides, Furadan (for <br /> I # a chlorinated herbicide used for wheat over <br /> alfalfa) and 2,4-D ( . ) <br /> the past five years. Ag Flight, Inc. of Lodi: California is <br /> listed as the applicator. While El Dorado Farms, Inc. maintains <br /> permits with the SJCAC for application ofl: a variety of other <br /> restricted pesticides, no records or information was obtained by <br /> Levine-Fricke indicating that these other 1' comp ounds had been used <br /> at the Site. According to Mr. Hudson of the SJCAC, no notices of <br /> violation of pesticide regulations have been 'recorded for the <br /> Site. <br /> I' <br /> Potential Herbicide Application Beneath Powear� Lianes <br /> PG&E was contacted_ concerning the possible usage of chemicals to <br /> I� control weeds beneath the power lines that transverse the Site <br /> along its southern border (Figure 2) . According to Mr. William <br /> J. Frazier, Region Building Superintendent for' PG&E, PG&E <br /> generally only applies weed control measures to lands that it <br /> owns; since the power lines are located in anieasement, and not <br /> on.
