Hazard Warning Policy
• It is the policy of the Company that containers of hazardous substances will only be released for use
when the following label information is verified:
• All containers except immediate use, portable secondary containers, are clearly labeled as to
the contents;
• Appropriate hazard warnings are noted; and
• The name and address of the manufacturer are listed.
B Responsibility for Hazard Warnings
• The primary responsibility for ensuring that containers will not be released without proper hazard
warning has been assigned to Safety Officer, Nathan Davidson, hereafter referred to as the Responsible
Safety Officer or RSO.
• To further ensure that employees are aware of the hazards of materials used in their work areas, it is our
policy to label all secondary containers. The only exception will be those "immediate use" portable
secondary containers where the container will be under the control of and used only by the person who
transfers it from the labeled container and only during the work shift in which it is transferred.
