Due to ongoing construction at the Chevron Station, SECOR. <br /> has requested an extension to December 15, 2005 for initiation of fieldwork. SJC/EHD <br /> approves this request. Please note that responsible parties to contaminated underground <br /> storage tank sites are required to investigate and remediate the contamination at their <br /> sites regardless of their eligibility to the State Water Resources Control Board Cleanup <br /> Fund, or of the status of pre-approval requests or reimbursement. Furthermore, being in <br /> compliance with regulatory directives is one requirement of eligibility to the Fund. <br /> Parts of the proposed investigation will require City of Stockton encroachment permits be <br /> obtained for the work to proceed.
