'
_. A cast-iron vault box assembly with a protective locking lid will be centered over the BAVm
probe installation. The assembly will be centered over a concrete pad which is slightly
larger than the vault box. The concrete pad slopes away from the vault box to avoid surface
accumulation of water. Drain pipes and pea gravel may be placed in the box to allow for
free drainage of surface water within the vault box. A minimum of 1-foot clearance will be
-. maintained between the BAT'probe top and the bottom of the vault box. A locking
protecdve cover will be placed over the BATT'probe cap. The BATT'probe number will
be clearly marked on the vault box lid. Each completion will bear a metal probe
identification tag attached to the vault box.
B,%, ''probe completion diagrams showing probe construction details will be completed by
the Earth Technology geologist/hydrogeologist who supervised the probe installation. The
completion diagrams will be contained in the final report.
2.6 MEASUREMENT'OF POTENTIOMETRIC LEVELS
Water levels will be measured in all monitoring wells. Measurements will be taken after
wells have stabilized prior to any well purging activities. Measurements will be recorded as
feet below the measuring point elevation (usua'ly top of casing) to the nearest 0.01 foot and
_ recorded as mean sea level(MSI.). Groundwater contour maps will be developed based on
water level elevations reported.
r.
0:191503MOlk I23.FL 7
4 :
