KYLE CHRISTIE
PAGE 3
3425 N. Tracy Blvd., Tracy ARCO Facility # 2093
PHSIEHD contact - Harlin Knoll
The start up for the remediation system at this site is scheduled for December 1995. The off-
site delineation is still proceeding pending access from the property owners of the New
Orleans Hotel. Monitoring well ATR#12 is to be abandoned and ATR#6 and ATR#7 will have
new traffic boxes installed. Product is being removed from ATR#8 monthly.
25775 Patterson Pass Road, Tracy ARCO Facility #6100
PHSIEHD contact - Margaret Lagorio
A vapor extraction test will be performed sometime next year at this site. After the test a
report defining the extent of the contamination and discussing remedial alternatives will be
submitted.
501 W. Kettleman Lane, Lodi ARCO Facility #434
PHSIEHD contact - Margaret Lagorio
The vapor extraction system is currently removing nominal amounts of hydrocarbons from the
subsurface. The groundwater monitoring wells show groundwater to be essentially free of
hydrocarbons_ The ultimate regulatory closure of this site was discussed. The need for
confirmation soil sampling to determine the remaining volume of hydrocarbons at the site and
the use of push point technology for this purpose was discussed. Also, subsequent to this
meeting, the possibility of using air data to determine the remaining volume of
hydrocarbons in the soil was discussed among PHSIEHD staff. It may be possible to
determine any potential remaining hydrocarbon mass by using pore volume calculations
or radius of influence measurements and current air data. Under certain site specific
conditions, such as porous soil, this type of data may be acceptable in lieu of
confirmation soil data.
3212 N. California, Stockton ARCO f=acility #2186
PHSIEHD contact - Steve Sasson
Results of the recent soil boring and monitoring well installation will be submitted in a report
soon.
Summary
The meeting allowed for continued communication between all parties and for continued progress at
the sites. The next meeting to discuss site progress was scheduled for Tuesday January 30, 1996 at
10:00 a.m, at the office of PHSIEHD.
If you disagree with this summary or have any questions, please contact me at (209) 468-3452.
Donna Heran, RENS, Director
Environ enI Health Division
lane .
