AL <br /> } <br /> A <br /> �''J .'.s.�i1 3 ^� I f 2' �36BROWN A �N, D � <br /> C A L D W E L L <br /> f <br /> September 12, 1995 r <br /> Mr. Kyle Christie <br /> ARCO Products Company <br /> 2155 South Bascom Avenue, Suite 202 <br /> Campbell, California 95008 017-2697-0111 <br /> Subject: Summary Report for the Destruction of Three Groundwater Monitoring <br /> Wells at ARCO Facility 6080 Located at 85 East Louise Road, Lathrop, California <br /> Dear Mr Christie: <br /> ARCO Products Company (ARCO) authorized Brown and Caldwell(BC) to conduct the over <br /> drilling and abandonment of three on-site groundwater monitoring wells at ARCO Products <br /> Company (ARCO) Facility 6080 located at 85 East Louise Road; Lathrop, California. The <br /> well locations are shown on Figure 1. This work was authorized by Work Authorization <br /> Number 18049-00. <br /> Background <br /> Wells AL-1 and AL-2 are up gradient wells that were installed in 1987. The wells are <br /> constructed of PVC casing and are approximately 27 feet deep. Well AL-4 is a down gradient <br /> well constructed in 1987 and is approximately 27 feet deep. These wells have been sampled <br /> annually since installation in 1987. Hydrocarbons have not been identified have not been <br /> identified in any of the wells since sampling began. Minor unidentifiable hydrocarbons were <br /> found in the soil near the former waste oil tank location. The San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services, Environmental:Health Division (County) has concluded that the potential <br /> threat to groundwater does not warrant further investigation in this area. The County has <br /> informed ARCO that it will issue a formal site certification (Closure) letter upon the proper <br /> destruction of the monitoring wells. <br /> s <br /> This report was prepared in accordance with the standards of the environmental consulting industry at the time it was <br /> prepared. It should not be relied upon by parties other than those for whom it was prepared, and then only to the <br /> extent of the scope of work which was authorized.
