EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Seven monitoring wells located at, or near, the former PureGroBrea Broadway agricultural-
chemical (ag-chem) facility were sampled and measured on September 18-19, 1995. Analytical
results are consistent with previous results.
Laboratory test results indicate that 1,2-DCP and nitrate concentrations have migrated from the
subject site, within the uppermost saturated zone, more than 300 feet to the southwest. Nitrates .
and 1,2-DCP were detected in samples from MW-5 and MW-b. However, no concentrations
were detected in water samples from the southern-most well MW-11 located at 1705 North
P ( )
Broadway Avenue (Figure 3).
The water table has lowered significantly since May 1995, and the flow direction appears to
change seasonally in response to infiltration along the Stockton Diverting Canal. ,
l
ff
Sierra-Pacific Groundwater Consultants iu
