Paul Tank lines: Removal of remaining gas in the tanks. <br /> 2. Planning: <br /> A plan was established to effect the recovery of the victim, removal of the <br /> wrecked Toyota pick-up and the Pete rb uilt.tru ck, recovery of the remaining <br /> gasoline, removal of the tank and tank trailer. Between each sequence, the fire <br /> department applied a layer of foam, covering the entire scene, to prevent an <br /> explosion or fire. <br /> ROAD CLOSURES: <br /> Mariposa Road was closed at Murphy Road on the west and Carrolton Road on the <br /> east, from 0600 hours on 9-6-95 until 2100 hours on 9-8-95. A detour was established <br /> by San Joaquin County Public Works Department. <br /> EVACUATION DETAILS: <br /> No evacuation was necessary, as this collision occurred in a remote agricultural area. <br /> The nearest home was 112 mile away. <br /> CLEAN-UP ACTIONS: <br /> Ramos Environmental Engineering excavated the dirt, gravel and asphalt that was <br /> contaminated by gasoline. The contaminated soils were taken to a class 1, hazardous <br /> materials, dump in Kettleman City. <br /> ACTIONS OF OTHER AGENCIES: <br /> 1. Farmington, Collegeville and Montezuma Fire Departments: <br /> Provided, rescue, resources, and fire suppression duties. Operations Officer. <br /> 2. Eascalon Ambulance Service: Provided first aid and transportation of injured <br /> party to the county hospital. Medical Officer. <br />
