Oil liquids and absorbents were observed under the engine parts storage racks where synthetic oil <br />are being stored, on the floors of the Gear Shop near the parts washers and absorbent buckets, on the <br />floor of the east side truck repair shop, and at the Shear Slab. . Facilities shall be maintained and <br />operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or <br />surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately, and manage <br />according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation <br />explaining how this waste was managed by 05/18/2012. <br />603. No accumulation start date on 55 -gallon satellite container of waste anti -freeze at the east side <br />truck repair shop, and is therefore considered to have been on site longer than 180 days. Since the <br />container has been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste <br />hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by <br />05/18/2012. <br />605. Five 55 -gallon hazardous waste containers missing hazardous property and two of these <br />containers also missing physical state on the label. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with <br />the following information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />2. name and address of generator <br />3. hazardous properties <br />4. physical state <br />5. composition (contents) <br />6. accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all <br />the required information. Violation was corrected on site. <br />701. Accumulation start date on 55 -gallon container of Grease Sweep is October 1, 2011.
