Detailed comments and analytical results
are provided in the attached memorandum and summarized below:
* The soil and groundwater investigation is being conducted along the OVP and Byron Road
easement where Mountain House Creek flows beneath the road and the adjacent UPRR tracks.
• Petroleum hydrocarbons have impacted soil and groundwater beneath the site, including an area
that is proposed for a streambed alteration and bridge replacement project associated with a
residential development.
a Elevated concentrations of TPH-d as high as 10,000 µg/L and TPH-g as high as 770 tg/L were
reported in two groundwater samples, respectively. BTEX and MTBE were not detected. The
total dissolved solids results were 1,100 and 1,200 mg/L, which is consistent with similar
sampling conducted for shallow groundwater in the Tracy area.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact Dean Hubbard at (559) 445-5179.
SHELTON R.
