The Phase I will include an interview of the tenant <br /> 2 manager and/or owner, an inspection of reported sensitive <br /> 3 features, and an inspection of the complete structure . Sensitive <br /> 4 features include underground storage tanks, aboveground storage <br /> 5 tanks, vent lines, patch work in the asphalt, dry wells, sumps, <br /> 6 drains, or areas of disposal evidencing such activity. <br /> 7 7 . In the event that an inspection of the sensitive <br /> 8 features suggest the presence of hazardous materials, a "Phase II <br /> 9 Environmental Assessment" ("Phase II") may he initiated. In that <br /> 10 case, soil sampling and other sampling activities may be <br /> 11 recommended to assess the nature and extent of possible impacts <br /> 12 to the Property. Those activities will likely include han <br /> 13 auguring in interior locations or boring in open spaces . <br /> 14 8 . If soil sampling is indicated, boring locations will he <br /> 15 restored to the original condition , Any penetration through <br /> 16 concrete or asphalt will be reconditioned. Prior to sampling, <br /> 17 the sampling sites will be surveyed and marked by "Undexgroun <br /> 18 Service Alert" to lessen the possibilities of injury or damage to <br /> 19 utility lines that serve or cross the Property. <br /> 20 9 . The Agency has previously requested entry onto the <br /> 21 Property. The owner has failed to grant such permission . <br /> 22 10 . For purposes of inspecting the Property, the Petitione <br /> 23 (requires entry, without interference, to the following areas : <br /> 24 (1) the exterior of the structure (s) (21 the interior of the <br /> 25 structures (s) , parking facilities and other open areas, and (31 <br /> 26 any other area or areas of which come to the attention o£� <br /> 27 Petitioner, or its agent, at the time of inspection and would bel <br /> 28 necessary for completing the environmental determinations for the <br /> 3 <br /> orn.=r eermirtinu Ent rti• <br />
