All such odors shall be evaluated with PID to determine <br /> concentrations. Avoid dermal contact with soil/water which may contain petroleum <br /> product and/or hazardous materials. <br /> Id. Immediately notify all personnel of any un-safe condition, or equipment <br /> malfunction. <br /> ' e. Be aware of the surroundings and operations. Be watchful for pedestrian and <br /> vehicle traffic. <br /> f. Site specific hazards and/or safety practices to be observed: Avoid dust clouds <br /> and avoid direct contact with soil. <br /> 7. Engineering Controls on site: <br /> ' a. Traffic cones and warning tapes: set up to isolate work areas from public. <br /> b. Emergency warning devices and shut-off switches: insure driller, helper, and <br /> geologist are aware of the locations and operation of the emergency shut-off <br /> switches. <br /> c. Site specific controls and/or warning devices: to be determined. <br /> 8. Medical surveillance requirements: not applicable to this project. <br /> ' 9. Decontamination Procedures: <br /> a. Equipment and tools which may have been in contact with petroleum product <br /> and/or hazardous materials should be decontaminated with on site wash down. <br /> Rinsate from decontamination should be containerized in barrels and stored on site. <br /> Ib. Personal protective equipment will be decontaminated with detergent wash/clean <br /> 1 water rinse (if required). Any clothing which has been saturated with potentially <br /> contaminated fluid will be disposed of in rinsate barrels. <br />
