Please provide in the feasibility
study a technical justification for performing a DPE pilot test.
Two groundwater monitoring wells (MW-7 and MW-8) were installed during April
2007 to monitor an apparent water bearing zone at approximately 70 feet below
surface grade . Both of these wells are impacted with significant concentrations of
petroleum hydrocarbons . In addition to the feasibility study, SJC/EHD directs
submittal of a work plan to define the lateral extent of the groundwater contamination
detected in MW-7 and MW-8. The work plan and feasibility study are due for
submittal to SJC/EHD no later than December 21 , 2007 .
If you have any questions please call Lori Duncan at (209 ) 468-0337 .
Donna Heran , REHS , Director
Environmental Health Department
Lori Duncan , Senior REHS Nuel C .
