Groundwater samples were collected and submitted for laboratory analysis from monitoring wells MW-1 <br /> through MW-4 and vapor well VW-3. Analysis included oxygenates by USEPA Method 8260. <br /> 2. Pinnacle compiled and evaluated the groundwater monitoring data. <br /> 3. Pinnacle submitted Overexcavation and Soil Sampling Workplan to'SJCPHS on February 19, 1999, <br /> with addendum and additional addendum submitted on March 2 and May 5, 1999, respectively. <br /> Pinnacle submitted Workplan to Further Assess Hydrocarbon-Impacted Soil and Groundwater on April <br /> 15, 1999. <br /> WORK PROPOSED FOR NEXT QUARTER (Second 1999): <br /> i. Pinnacle will continue to perform quarterly groundwater monitoring. The next sampling event. is <br /> tentatively scheduled for June 1999. Groundwater samples from wells MW-1 through MW-4 and vapor <br /> well VW-3 will be collected and analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHG) using <br /> U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) Method 8015 Modified; and for benzene, toluene, <br /> ethylbenzene; and total xylenes (BTEX) and methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) using USEPA Method 8020; <br /> and for oxygenates tertiary butanol, MTBE, di-isopropyl ether, ethyl tertiary butyl ether, and tertiary amyl <br /> methyl ether using USEPA Method 8260. <br /> Current Phase of Project: Monitoring <br /> Frequency of Groundwater Sampling: MW-1 through MW-4, and VW-3= Quarterly <br /> Frequency of Groundwater Monitoring: Quarterly <br /> Sample Date: March 31, 1999 <br /> Is Free Product (FP) Present on Site: No <br /> FP Recovered this Quarter: NA <br /> Cumulative FP Recovered to Date: NA <br /> Approximate Depth to Groundwater: 33.85 to 35.81 <br /> Direction of Groundwater Flow: North-northeast <br /> Groundwater Gradient: 0.004 <br /> CP\E:IARC0121861QTRLY12186Q199.DOC-981Isg:1 � a <br />
