i <br /> 15 January 2001 <br /> AGE-NC Project Na 96-0232 <br /> Page 9 of 20 <br /> The results of the laboratory analysis did not detect any constituents of concern above laboratory <br /> reporting limits The laboratory report (McCampbell Analytical Inc Lab I D 54621) and chain-of- <br /> custody <br /> hain-ofcustody form is presented in Appendix G <br /> 6 2 START-UP GRAB WATER SAMPLING PROCEDURES <br />' During the pump and treat start-up period, ground water influent and processed water effluent, depth <br /> to ground water measurements and operational parameters (ground water flow meters, fluid level <br /> sensors, total flow indicators) were monitored daily during the start-up period to ensure optimal <br /> removal of dissolved hydrocarbons and dissolved MTBE Grab ground water samples were collected <br /> from influent and effuent sampling ports and logged on a chain-of-custody form, placed in a chilled <br />' container and transported to a California Department of Health Services (DHS)-certified laboratory <br /> for analysis for the following analytes <br />' • TPH-g and TPH-d by EPA Methods 8015M/5030 and 8015M/3550, respectively, <br /> • BTEX with MTBE by EPA Method 8020, and <br />' o TBA, DIPE, ETBE, TAME, methanol, ethanol and MTBE by EPA Method 8260M <br />' <br /> 63 START-UP GRAB WATER ANALYTICAL RESULTS <br />' Analysis of influent grab water samples collected on 09, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17 and 20 November 2000 <br /> detected MTBE at concentrations between 290 and 1,100µg11 utilizing EPA Methods 8020 and 8260 <br />' Modified TPH-g was detected in three influent water samples at concentrations of 51, 59 and 62 <br /> ,ugll on 09, 13 and 16 November 2000, respectively, TPH-d was detected in one grab water sample <br /> at a concentration of 76 µg11 collected on 16 November 2000 None of the other analytes were <br />' detected in the influent water samples above laboratory reporting limits during the start-up period <br /> Effluent grab water samples collected on 09, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17 and 20 November 2000 did not detect <br />' any of the above mentioned analytes at concentrations above laboratory reporting limits The <br /> analytical results from the influent and effluent grab water samples are summarized In Table 2 The <br /> laboratory report and chain-of-custody forms are presented in Appendix F <br /> 1 <br /> 64 START-UP PUMP AND TREAT WATER DISPOSAL <br />' Approximately 31,750 gallons of extracted water were generated during the start-up period(Table <br /> 1) On 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18 and 21 November 2000, start-up processed water was pumped from the <br />' Advanced GeoEnvcronmentai,Inc <br />
