15 October 2001 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 96-0232 <br />' Page 9 of 17 <br />' • TPH-g, TPH-d and TPH-mo by EPA Methods 5030/8015 Modified and 3550/8015 <br /> Modified, respectively, <br />' • BTEX and MTBE by EPA Method 8020, and <br /> • Methanol, ethanol, 1,2-DCA,EDB,TBA, DIPE, ETBE, TAME and MTBE by EPA Method <br /> 8260 Modified <br /> I <br />' 34 FINDINGS <br /> Ground water elevation, flow direction and gradient were determined from field data collected on <br /> 05 September 2001, the contaminant impact to ground water was assessed from the laboratory data <br /> 3 4 1 Ground Water Elevation And Gradient <br /> During the September 2001 monitoring event, depths to ground water in Flag City Chevron wells <br /> MW-1 through MW-13 were measured between 15 02 and 19 35 feet below the tops of the well <br /> casings, ground water elevations were calculated to be between 6 50 and 8 90 feet below mean sea <br /> level Ground water elevation at the site generally decreased an average 3 16 feet between the June <br /> 2001 and the September 2001 ground water monitoring events The September 2001 ground water <br /> elevation data collected from the Flag City Chevron site and the adjacent Three B's Truck Plaza site <br /> Iis depicted in Figures 3, 4, 5 and 6 <br /> Ground water elevation data collected in the First Zone Aquifer(5 to 35 feet bsg) in the area of Flag <br /> I City Chevron monitoring wells MW-1,MW-2,MW-4,MW-5,MW-6A and MW-l0A indicated that <br /> local ground water flow direction was variable (northwest, west and southwestward) and generally <br /> was oriented toward the area of MW-1 at an approximate gradient of 0 01 ft/ft or less (Figure 3), <br />' the ground water elevation data in the area of Flag City Chevron well MW-7, MW-12A, MW-13A <br /> and Three B's Truck PIaza wells MW-1 through MW-6 indicated that the ground water flow <br /> direction was generally toward the west at an approximate gradient of 0 004 ft/ft or less <br /> iGround water flow direction in the Second Zone Aquifer(40 to 60 feet bsg) in the area of Flag City <br /> Chevron monitoring wells MW-8A, MW-10B, MW-11A, MW-12B and MW-13B was inferred <br /> toward the west at an approximate gradient of 0 002 ft/ft or less (Figure 4), ground water flow <br /> direction in the area of MW-613 was inferred toward the southwest and ground water flow direction <br /> in the area of MW-9A was inferred toward the northwest at a gradient of 0 002 or less <br /> Ground water flow direction in the Secondary Aquifer Zone (85 to 105 feet bsg) in the area of Flag <br /> iCity Chevron monitoring wells MW-8B,MW-9B,MW-1013,MW-11 C,MW-12C and MW-13C was <br /> Advanced GeoEnviroamental,Inc <br />
