AGE-NC Project No 96-0232 <br /> Page 10 of 17 <br />' Inferred toward the west at an approximate gradient of 0 001 ft/ft or less (Figure 5) <br /> Ground water flow direction in the Primary Aquifer Zone (130 to 150 feet bsg) in the area of Flag <br />' City Chevron monitoring wells MW-8C, MW-9C, MW-10E, MW-11D, MW-12D and MW-13D <br /> was variable and generally oriented toward the area of the Rocky's Restaurant domestic drinking <br /> water well (RDW-1) at an approximate gradient of 0 001 ft/ft or less (Figure 6) <br /> 3 4 2 Laboratory Results Of Ground Water Samples <br />' During the September 2001 sampling event, TPH-g was detected in a water sample collected from <br /> MW-13A at a concentration of260,ug/l, TPH-d was detected in samples collected from MW-12A, <br />' MW-13A and MW-13C at concentrations as high as 530 Aig/1, and TPH-mo was detected in a water <br /> sample collected from MW-12A at a concentration of 400 ,ug/l The laboratory indicated that the <br /> I sample chromatograms from MW-12A, MW-13A and MW-13C contained significant diesel range <br /> compounds,the laboratory indicated the sample chromatogram from MW-12A contained significant <br /> oil range compounds <br /> iBenzene was detected in a water sample collected from well MW-13A at a concentration of 70�Zgd, <br /> toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes were detected in water samples collected from wells MW 12A, <br /> MW-12B and MW-13A at concentrations as high as 6 8 ,ug/l No other BTEX compounds were <br /> detected in any of the samples collected during September 2001 MTBE (utilizing EPA Method <br /> 8020)was detected in water samples collected from wells MW-7,MW-11B,MW-13A,EW-4,EW- <br /> 5, EW-6 and EW-9 at concentrations as high as 130/tg/1 MW-11B) <br /> MTBE(utilizing EPA Method 8260)was detected in water samples collected from monitoring wells <br /> MW-1,MW-7, MW-9A, MW-9C,MW-I IA,MW-1113 and MW-13A at concentrations as high as <br /> 1304gll (MW-11B), isoconcentration maps displaying the estimated extent of dissolved MTBE in <br /> First Zone and Second Zone aquifer are depicted in Figures 7 and 8 MTBE was detected in water <br /> samples collected from extraction wells EW-2, EW-4, EW-5, EW-6, EW-8 and EW-9 at <br /> concentrations as high as 35,ug/1 (EW--5), an isoconcentration map displaying the estimated extent <br /> of dissolved MTBE in the area of the ground water extraction wells is depicted in Figure 9 <br /> No other constituents of concern were detected above laboratory reporting limits in the water <br /> samples collected during the third quarter 2001 sampling event Site investigation and the current <br /> third quarter 2001 analytical results of ground water monitoring well samples are summarized in <br /> Tables 5 and 6 The laboratory reports(McCampbell Analytical Inc i D Nos 77236 through 77250, <br /> 77330 through 77338 and 77344 through 77364) and chain-of-custody forms are presented in <br /> Appendix H <br /> IAdvanced GeoEnvsronmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
