SUMMARY OF FINDINGS FROM QUARTERLY ACTIVITIES <br /> Previous soil characteristics data obtained by a CPT investigation enabled AGE to define five <br />' informal hydrologic units (Final Remediation Plan, dated 31 August 2000) The informal <br /> hydrogeologic units are defined as First Zone(5-35 feet bsg), Second Zone(40-60 feet bsg),Rocky's <br /> Upper Zone (65-75 feet bsg), Secondary Aquifer Zone(85-105 feet bsg), and Primary Aquifer Zone <br /> t (130-150 feet bsg) The Rocky's Upper Zone is the shallowest ground water zone screened in the <br /> Rocky's domestic drinking water well <br /> A third quarter 2001 update letter(Third Quarter Update on Annexation to Community Service Area <br /> No 31, dated 06 July 200 1)has been prepared by Rishwain &Rishwain, attorneys for the Bokides <br /> Family Limited Partnership, concerning the progress of the annexation of the Rocky's Restaurant <br />' property into San Joaquin County Community Service Area No 31 (Appendix J) According to the <br /> third quarter 2001 update letter, the Local Agency Formation Commission(LAFCO)of San Joaquin <br /> County has approved an"Out-Of-Agency"service agreement for water service instead of annexation <br /> to County Service Area No 31 with the following conditions <br /> 1 Apply for an"Out-Of-Agency"agreement through LAFCO, and pay all LAFCO processing <br /> fees <br /> 2 Pay for a San Joaquin County"buy-in" fee of$2,150 61 <br /> 3 Pay for a San Joaquin County"Area-of-Benefit" fee of$15,000 <br /> 4 Prepay a San Joaquin County"Annexation"fee of$25,000 Rocky's Restaurant must agree <br /> to annex into County Service Area No 31 when sewer capacity is available <br /> 5 Install a water meter with size and location approved by San Joaquin County <br /> i6 Pay the normal service charge of$1 88 per 1,000 gallons of water consumption <br /> 7 Extend a water main from the existing main in Capitol Avenue to the south line of <br />' Assessor's Parcel No 055-150-25 (Rocky's Restaurant) <br /> 8 Obtain a San Joaquin County encroachment permit for inspection of the water-line <br /> constriction and connection The service must be in conform to San Joaquin County <br /> Improvement Standard Nos CW-W8 and CW-W24 <br /> 9 Provide a copy of a certified test of the backflow prevention device prior to use, and <br /> thereafter, provide annual certification of the device <br /> 10 Provide access for San Joaquin County personnel to read the water meter monthly <br /> 11 Agree to the rules and regulations for payment, penalties, and continued service in <br /> conformance wit adopted policies for San Joaquin County water service <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmentat Inc <br />
