i <br /> ' KLEiNFELDER <br /> City of Stockton Building Department <br /> ' The City of Stockton Building Department did contain construction permit information regarding <br /> the adjacent former Holiday Inn Hotel from at least 1966 until June 1990 at which time a <br /> demolition permit for the structure was issued However, there was no record regarding the use <br /> or installation of underground storage tanks at the listed facility address at 221 North Center <br /> Street <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Service Environmental Health Division <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division (SJCEHD) is the local agency <br /> ' responsible for oversight and enforcement of the California underground storage tank <br /> regulations Ms Mary O'Sullivan of SJCEHD indicated two files were available The subject <br /> site address at 221 North Center Street was Iisted on the ERNs list for a reported asbestos spill <br /> ' (<1 pound) that was cleaned up and transported to a landfill No additional information for the <br /> subject site was available <br /> ' The adjacent ARCO service station, located at 205 North Center Street, had three events (June <br /> 1991, February 1992 and November 1993) which involved customers driving off the site with the <br /> fuel nozzle attached to the vehicle Less than 100 total gallons was spilled to the ground surface <br /> total or during each event The spills were cleaned up under the guidance of PHS/EHD On <br /> December 16, 19$7 a 12,000 gallon gasoline tank at the ARCO station failed a precision leak <br /> test The leak was repaired within the piping and passed a tank retest The site address was <br /> placed on the Leaking Underground Storage Tank list (LUST) as a result of this incident <br /> California Department of Water Resources <br /> ' The California Department of Water Resources provides information regarding the <br /> presence/absence of water wells on the subject site Mr Tony Camoroda from the Department <br /> ' of Water Resources was contacted requesting if any water wells exist on site or on the <br /> surrounding areas Mr Camoroda indicated the California Department of Water Resources had <br /> no records of wells on file foi the subject site <br /> l <br /> I <br /> 24-1 129-30/2017R24I Page 9 of 16 <br /> 0 1997 Kkint0du Im July 14, 1997 <br />
