II. Activities Performed During Current Ouarter: DTSC and RWQCB comments were incorporated into the final DRAP which was issued on December 31, 1997. This DRAP was approved for public review and comment by DTSC on January 7, 1998. The DRAP was included in a public repository on January 9, 1998, along with supporting documents, such as the RI, RA and the FS for this site. Also included in the public repository were the proposed Negative Declaration and its supporting document,the California Environmental Quality Act(CEQA) Special Initial Study for this site. On January 7, 1998, the Fact Sheet was mailed to DTSC's mandatory mailing list and to residents and businesses within a four block radius of the site. Both English and Spanish versions of the Fact Sheet were mailed to the residents and businesses within the four block radius. A public notice was placed in the January 9, 1998 Stockton Record(local newspaper)to announce the public comment period on the DRAP and on the proposed Negative Declaration and to announce the public meeting. The public comment period on the DRAP and the proposed Negative Declaration began on January 9, 1998 and ended on February 9, 1998. A public meeting on these documents and the proposed remedial strategy for this site was held in Stockton on January 20, 1998. Public comments were received on the DRAP. These comments were discussed in a February 13, 1998 conference call between PG&E and DTSC; DTSC prepared the Responsiveness Summary to these comments. This Responsiveness Summary will be incorporated into the final RAP. On March 18, 1998, DTSC submitted its comments on the DRAP to PG&E. The final RAP which incorporates DTSC's March 18, 1998 comments was submitted to DTSC on March 26, 1998. The final RAP was approved by DTSC in a letter dated April 2, 1998. A public notice was placed in the April 3, 1998 Stockton Record announcing the finalization of the RAP and the Negative Declaration for the project. On April 9, 1998, PG&E issued a complete final RAP (which includes DTSC's final Executive Summary, DTSC's Responsiveness Summary, and the approved Negative Declaration for this project and its supporting CEQA Special Initial Study). Quarterly groundwater monitoring was conducted in March, 1998. The results of this quarterly monitoring was submitted to DTSC and the RWQCB on April 30, 1998 in the Quarterly Monitoring Report, PG&E Stockton Former MGP Site, First Quarter, 1998.
