This briefing will be <br /> conducted onsite. <br /> 2.4 Tailgate Safety Meetings <br /> If conditions of the work or personnel change during the course of the fieldwork, a new <br /> tailgate safety meeting may be convened. The tailgate safety meeting will be conducted <br /> prior to the start of the field activities. The meeting will be documented using the "Tailgate <br /> Safety Meeting Form" included in Exhibit A of this H&S plan. The tailgate safety meeting <br /> will cover items such as: <br /> • Expected physical and environmental conditions at the Site; <br /> • Planned daily activities and objectives; <br /> • Safety deficiencies previously observed; <br /> Decontamination procedures; and, <br /> Personal and area monitoring strategies. <br /> 2.5 Site Visitor Training Brief <br /> No visitors will be allowed to enter the working zones(as specified in Section 6 of this H&S <br /> plan)without approval of the Project Manager. The Project Manager will be informed of all <br /> visitors expected to enter the working zones. Visitors and observers to the Site will receive <br /> the same information that is discussed at the daily tailgate meeting or an equivalent <br /> overview by the Health and Safety officer or designee. <br /> Any visitor requesting to observe work within the exclusion zone must wear the appropriate <br /> personal protective equipment(PPE) and comply with all State and Federal regulations.
