09 January 2017 •
AGE Project No. 00-0769
encountered during drilling. Proposed soil boring locations and proposed groundwater
sampling depths are as follows:
• One soil boring will be advanced to approximately 165 feet bsg approximately
340 feet north-northeast of boring CPT-17, on the east side of EI Dorado Street
just south of East Anderson Street, to delineate the downgradient lateral and
vertical extent of hydrocarbon-impacted groundwater previously reported from
CPT-17. Grab groundwater samples will be collected at depths of 120 feet, 145
feet, and 165 feet bsg;
• One soil boring will be advanced to approximately 165 feet bsg approximately
230 feet east of boring CPT-15 to delineate the downgradient lateral and vertical
extent of hydrocarbon-impacted groundwater previously reported from CPT-15.
This boring is proposed on private property, AGE will attempt to secure access to
the property from the property owner. However, if AGE is unable to secure access
to the property, an alternate boring location is proposed approximately 440 feet
east of boring CPT-15, on the west side of South Hunter Street. Grab groundwater
samples will be collected at depths of 50 feet, 80 feet, 145 feet, and 165 feet bsg;
• One soil boring will be advanced to approximately 145 feet bsg approximately
290 feet southeast of boring CPT-4, to delineate the downgradient lateral and
vertical extent of hydrocarbon-impacted groundwater previously reported from
CPT-4. This boring is proposed on private property, AGE will attempt to secure
access to the property from the property owner. However, if AGE is unable to
secure access to the property, an alternate boring location is proposed
approximately 270 feet southeast of boring CPT-4, on the south side of East Clay
Street. Grab groundwater samples will be collected at depths of 50 feet, 80 feet,
120 feet, and 145 feet bsg; and
• One soil boring will be advanced to approximately 165 feet bsg approximately
340 feet north of boring CPT-13, on the south side of West Jefferson Street, to
delineate the downgradient lateral and vertical extent of hydrocarbon-impacted
groundwater previously reported from CPT-13. Grab groundwater samples will be
collected at depths of 50 feet, 80 feet, 125 feet, and 165 feet bsg.
The proposed soil boring locations are illustrated in Figure 4.
Groundwater samples will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Public
Health (CDPH)-certified laboratory for the following constituents:
• Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g) in accordance with
EPA Method 8015M; and
• Benzene, toluene, ethyl-benzene, and total xylenes (BTEX), fuel additives MTBE,
di-isopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl tertiary-butyl ether (ETBE), tertiary-amyl methyl
ether (TAME), tertiary butanol (TBA), ethylene dibromide (EDB), and 1,2-
dichloroethane (1,2-DCA) in accordance with EPA Method 82608.
Advanced GcoEnvironmental Inc.
