Real to ELes <br /> The real estate files were reviewed to establish site hist ry pertaining to deeds,leases, <br /> easements,quit claim deeds. <br /> The following information was reviewed to establish site history. <br /> • Lease, dated August 12, 1921,between Mr. And Mrs. Grunauer and Union Oil <br /> Company. Lease ended October 31, 1934. <br /> • Lease, dated August 28, 1934,between Bertha Viola Berger,Vera Irene Frunauer and <br /> Doris Mae Powell and Union Oil Company.Lease ended October 31, 1939. <br /> • Lease,dated September 1, 1938,between Berverdor,Inc. and Union Oil Company. <br /> Lease ended September 30, 1953. <br /> • AFE,dated July 9, 1948,regarding the purchase othe service station and the <br /> installation of USTs.The USTs storage was 1-2,000 gallon,2-550 gallon, and 1- <br /> 1,000 gallon USTs. Additional UST to be installed include 1-4,000 gallon UST: <br /> • Cancellation Agreement terminating service station site lease, dated December 28, <br /> 1949,between Berverdor,Inc. (Lessor) and Union Oil Company (lessee). <br /> • AFE, dated April 12, 1950, indicated that the old tanks be abandoned,with the <br /> exception of 1-4,000 gallon fuel and 1-6,000 gallon fuel UST. <br /> • The service station operator Mr.Edward I.Wood vacated the service station in May <br /> 1959 without notifying Unocal. <br /> • Letter,dated June 25, 1959,reference was made on 1-2,600 gallon fuel UST. <br /> However,the letter did not indicate is the UST was removed or installed. <br /> • Letter,dated November 26, 1959, indicated that the service station property was leased <br /> in 1921 to construct the station. In 1938,the service station was remodeled.In 1950 <br /> and 1951,the service station had pumps installed along Central Avenue, and pumps <br /> were replaced along 11th Street,respectively. <br /> • Service station was temporary closed on October 29, 1964 due to health reasons of the <br /> operator,Mr.Sam W.McDaniel. <br /> • Service station was closed on September 30, 1965.Equipment was moved to Tracy <br /> Marking Station and the building was demolished.No indication if the USTs were <br /> removed from the property. <br /> • Service Station Site Lease Modification,dated October 25, 1965,between Berverdor <br /> Inc. and Unocal.Includes the additional 11 feet of frontage extends lease. <br /> 4 <br /> i <br />
