r Historical Man One historical trap pertaining to the service station was reviewed and is presented in Appendix A- Aerial Pholompb Umey An aerial photograph survey was performed at Pacific Aerial Survey located in Oakland, California.The following available aerial photographs were reviewed: 1949, 1954, and 1962. In all aerial photographs reviewed,the subject property was occupied by a service station. The California Environmental Protection Agency(Cal-EPA)was consulted for information on facilities listed in the Facility Inventory Database(Table 1).The subject property was not listed in the Facility inventory database which contains matched records from several databases maintained by Cal-EPA. Directory eview A review of available Polk City Directories and Haines(Cross Directories were reviewed at Tracy Public Library. An historical land use table was complied and is presented on Table 2.A Unocal Service Station was identified at 8 East 11th Street(northern portion of subject property),and the last directory that listed the service nation was 1963.No service station was listed at 1034 Central Avenue(southern portion of subject property). Several banks were listed at 1034 Central Avenue from approximately the 1950's to 1993. Sanborn Fire Jns=AQQM= Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps were requested from the Sanborn Company located in Pelham,New York.The Sanborn Company indicated they had the following map coverage of the subject property (Appendix B). 1211 Sanborn AW In the 1911 Sanborn Map,the subject property was occupied by a residential dwelling.. 1913 Sanborn Map In the 1913 Sanborn Map,the subject property was occupied by a residential dwelling. In the 1921 Sanborn Map,the subject property was occupied by a service station. LW Saakm_9= In the 1945 Sanborn Map,the subject property was occupied by a service station. 5
