Blow counts and sample information from these borings will be used in performing a liquefaction potential analysis of the site. Based upon our experience, the potential for liquefaction within the Tracy area has not been a major problem. ASSUMPTIONS AND CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES • If weather, access, or site conditions restrict our field operations, we may need to revise our fees. We would contact you for authorization, however, before proceeding with any additional services. All added costs incurred as a result of suspected hazardous substances encountered during our geotechnical field explorations would be charged on a time and expense basis over and above the fees for our geotechnical engineering services. • The client will provide Kleinfelder with the authorization to access the site. The client will provide a written right of entry authorization, if requested. • Environmental sampling and analysis, other than that set forth in the proposal, are not included in the scope of services. Additional sampling and analysis, if required, can be provided for additional fees. • Three copies of each document will be delivered to the client. Additional copies of an of the p P Y documents can be provided for an additional fee of$25 per copy. Documents will be issued for the entire project, not individual buildings. If it is desired to have individual reports for each building, additional cost will be incurred by the client. • The review of regulatory agency files for the ESA is limited to the site and adjacent facilities only. If regulatory agency file reviews for additional sites are recommended, then the client will be contacted for authorization of additional fees. • Client to provide chain-of-title report dating back 50 years or a preliminary title report which lists easements and current ownership. If Kleinfelder is asked to`obtain this information, additional expenses will be incurred. • Adequate work space and access will be provided for all field work. Kleinfelder will attempt to advance the soil borings at the proposed location. If the drilling equipment cannot be positioned, alternative drilling locations or sampling methods should be investigated. The borings are to be drilled with a truck mounted drill rig equipped with continuous flight augers. If alternative drilling methods or concrete cutting are required, additional costs may be incurred. • The client will be responsible for locating all underground utilities and other subsurface structures that could interfere with drilling operations or be damaged during drilling.
