April 29,2016 <br /> Ms. Cori Condon <br /> Reference: Quarterly Status Summary Report-First Quarter 2016 <br /> In 2003, the City of Stockton changed the name of a portion of West Charter Way to Dr. Martin <br /> Luther King Jr. Boulevard. For reporting purposes, the Site has continued to be referred to as the <br /> Stockton Charter Way Commingled Plume Site and the historical Charter Way addresses are <br /> used. <br /> Sensitive Receptors <br /> There are no known water wells within one-quarter mile of the Site. The nearest surface water <br /> body is the Mormon Slough, located approximately 2,800 feet to the north-northeast and down- <br /> gradient of the Site. <br /> Monitoring and Sampling <br /> Monitoring and sampling was not performed during 1Q16; the Site is sampled on a semi-annual <br /> basis during the second and fourth quarters. <br /> This Quarter's Activities (1016) <br /> 1. Stantec prepared and submitted a Semi-Annual Groundwater Monitoring Report Fourth <br /> Quarter 2015 to the CVRWQCB, dated January 29, 2016. <br /> 2. Stantec prepared and submitted a Site Management Plan - Draft to the CVRWQCB, <br /> dated January 28, 2016. <br /> 3. Stantec prepared and submitted a Feasibility Study/Corrective Action Plan to the <br /> CVRWQCB, dated February 29, 2016. <br /> 4. Stantec prepared and submitted a Work Plan to the CVRWQCB, dated February 29, <br /> 2016. <br /> 5. Stantec prepared and submitted a Site Management Plan to the CVRWQCB, dated <br /> February 29, 2016. <br /> 6. Stantec installed a new fence panel on February 26, 2016 to secure the enclosure of the <br /> remediation system located on the former Texaco parcel. <br /> 7. Belshire removed three drums, totaling 85 gallons, of non-hazardous water from work <br /> done during the 4Q15 (see Attachment A). <br /> 8. Stantec obtained quotes from subcontractors to perform decommissioning of the <br /> remediation system located on the former Texaco parcel. <br /> Next Quarter's Activities (2016) <br /> 1. Blaine Tech Services will perform the semi-annual groundwater monitoring and sampling <br /> event. <br /> 2. Stantec will cancel the service and disconnect all remediation system-related utilities <br /> and remove the remediation system and enclosure currently on the former Texaco <br /> parcel. <br />
