Charter Way, Stockton <br /> ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NO: 167-181-01 <br /> NAME &ADDRESS OF OWNERS: Morita Brothers, 6622 Belmont Place, <br /> Stockton, CA 95207 <br /> CONTACT PERSON: Frank Morita, (209) 478-7546 <br /> REGIONAL GEOGRAPHIC SETTING: The property is located in the southern <br /> part of the city of Stockton, approximately 1 mile southeast of city hall. it is <br /> bounded on the north by Charter Way, and on the west by Grant St. Mormon <br /> slough is about 3,000' to the northeast, and the Southern Pacific railroad is less <br /> than 1,000' to the east. Highway 99 is 2+ miles to the east, and Interstate 5 is <br /> one mile to the west. The area consists of a mix of single family dwellings, small <br /> businesses, service stations, and eating establishments. Refer to PLATE I for <br /> more details. <br /> GEOLOGIC &GEOMORPHIC PROVINCE: <br /> Stockton is situated near the southern and of the Sacramento Valley, which is <br /> the northern segment of what is referred to as the Great Valley of California. <br /> Over 20,000 feet of sands, gravels, & clay underlay the area; they have been <br /> derived from the erosion, deposition, and reworking of sediments and volcanics <br /> from the Sierra Nevada Batholith to the east. The topopgraphy is very flat; <br /> surface drainage is to the west/southwest at less that 107mile. Refer to PLATE <br /> 11 for more details.
