Every effort will be made to separate contaminated soil from
the clean. Clean soil will be stored on the south side of
the property and contaminated soil will be stored con the
north [see drawing] . Spoil will be placed on plastic
sheeting and covered with same. After an actual volume and
contamination levels are determined, decisions can be made as
to the best method of disposal or treatment. Final
disposition of soil will be included in Wm. Hunter and
Associates report.
7. Soo l Sam pl any Soil sampling will be accomplished by
retrieving samples from the appropriate areas with the
. excavator bucket. Samples will be taken from the bucket by
Wm. Hunter and Associates representative on site. A l l
sampling and analyses will follow LUFT guidelines and be
transported by Wm. Hunter and Associates representative
directly to F GL Laboratories, located on Stage Coach
Rd. , Stockton, CA under chain of custody. Samples will be
tested for TPH--G, P7 E&X and total lead. The samples taken
from the eastern edge of the excavation will also be tested
for TpH as oil and grease.
We propose to take 10 sidewall samples from the excavation,
from each long side and 2 from each short side. We propose
to take 3 bottom samples, placed equidistant along the length
of the excavation [see attached drAwingJ .
