Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #21 Hot and Cold Potable Water Not Available MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The hot water at the 3 comp and mop sinks was 91 F and 92F, respectively.The hot water at the kitchen <br /> hand sink and bathroom sink was 87F and 88F, respectively. The hot water at the prep sink was turned off. Immediately, <br /> restore hot water to minimum 120F at the 3 comp, prep, and mop sinks; and 100F- 108F at all of the hand wash sinks. <br /> Owner stated that it takes time for the hot water to get back to proper temperatures after using it to wash dishes,which she <br /> said was done before I arrived. I took hot water temperatures again about 15 minutes after initial readings. 3 comp at 96F, <br /> kitchen hand wash sink at 88F, restroom sink at 96F, and the mop sink at 96F. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:An adequate,protected,pressurized,potable supply of hot water and cold water shall be provided at all times. <br /> (113953(c), 114099.2(b) 114101(a), 114189, 114192, 114192.1, 114195) <br /> #6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The paper towel dispensers in the kitchen and bathroom are empty.There are rolls of paper towels <br /> nearby but they are not compatible with the dispensers. Refill dispensers with compatible paper towels or provide a <br /> dispenser for the current rolls of paper towels. Correct within 2 days. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br /> maintained in good repair. (113953.2) Adequate facilities shall be provided for hand washing,food preparation and the washing of <br /> utensils and equipment.
