• • <br /> B. Decontamination <br /> When personal protective clothing and equipment (i.e., respirators) are required <br /> for use, standard decontamination procedures shall be followed. <br /> 1. Procedure <br /> (a) Move to designated area (decontamination station). <br /> (b) Wash boots, gloves and suit, as needed. <br /> (c) Remove tape. <br /> (d) Remove disposable suit (from the inside, out) <br /> (e) Remove gloves. <br /> (f) Remove boots. <br /> (g) Remove respirator. <br /> (h) Wash hands, face and any exposed skin. <br /> C. Hazard Control <br /> 1. Required <br /> These items are required for all personnel working in areas of known or <br /> suspected contamination, during drilling and sampling operations. <br /> Employees shall wear the following required personal protective clothing <br /> and equipment during work operations. <br /> (a) Boots with steel safety toe. <br /> (b) PVC, neoprene or other chemical resistant gloves. <br /> (c) Hard hat. <br /> (d) Half (1/2) face respirator with OV cartridges and dust mist pre- <br /> filters.
