Submitted December 7th 1995 § <br /> § Copy transmitted to the California Regional Water Quality Control Board - Central Valley <br /> Region (CRWQCB) <br />• Petroleum Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund <br /> As the present property owners, the Navarras applied to the California State Water <br /> Resources Control Board (CSWRCB) under the Petroleum Underground Storage Tank <br /> Cleanup Fund for a grant to meet the cost of investigating and remediating the site- On <br /> December 29th 1994, the CSWRCB issued an initial Letter of Commitment for <br /> Reimbursement of Costs to the Navarras <br /> During the reporting period, accounting and clerical work necessary to support the third <br /> claim for reimbursement for work performed for the subject site was completed and <br /> Standard Form Payment Request documentation for that claim was submitted to the <br /> CSWRCB <br /> Also during the reporting period and following receipt of notification of approval of the <br /> CAP from the SJCPHS, a Cost Pre-Approval Request, supported by a copy of the CAP, <br /> the engineer's estimate for implementation of the CAP and the SJCPHS's Notice of <br /> Findings, was submitted to the CSWRCB for a sum sufficient to cover the planned <br /> corrective action (Note An estimate of the likely cost of remediation was included in the <br /> original application for funding under the Petroleum Underground Storage Tank CIeanup <br /> Fund that was submitted in 1993, but the CSWRCB did not allocate sufficient funds to <br /> cover the cost of any portion the remediation when the initial application was approved ) <br />
