Corrective Action Plan Page 42 <br /> All water samples will be analyzed by a laboratory certified by the California <br /> Environmental Protection Agency (Department of Health Services) to perform the cited <br /> analyses <br /> Coordination of Sampling <br /> ToP ermit the work to be performed cost-effectively, the groundwater, treatment-system, <br /> and discharge sampling designed to meet the several objectives discussed above will be <br /> coordinated so that monthly, quarterly and twice-yearly sampling rounds from the various <br /> wells and treatment-system sampling ports that fall on common periodic schedules can be <br /> performed on the same day <br /> Summary <br /> Before groundwater pumping is started, samples from all of the monitoring wells and <br /> recovery wells installed for the 152 East 11th Street property will be recovered and <br /> analyzed This will provide base-line groundwater-quality data During the three month <br /> period following startup of the remediation system, samples of water will be obtained from <br /> the recovery and monitoring wells in the interior of the plume of contamination, from the <br /> water discharged to the storm sewer and from the influents and effluents of the principal <br /> treatment-system process units according to the previously defined weekly and monthly <br /> schedules Analyses of these sample will permit the operating characteristics of the <br /> remediation system to be established Thereafter, to monitor the progress of remediation <br /> and check system performance, the regular water-quality sampling schedule will follow the <br /> scheme summarized below <br /> Sampling Point Sampling Frequency Analytes <br /> Treatment-S stem Discharge t Monthly 2 TPH(g) 3, BTEX 4, <br /> Y g Y <br /> pH, Specific <br /> Conductivity and <br /> Bioassay 5 <br /> Air Stripper Influents, Monthly TPH(g) and BTEX <br /> Air Stripper Effluent and <br /> Carbon Adsorption Mid-Point <br /> Monitoring Wells NAV 1, NAV 3 Quarterly 6 TPH(g) and BTEX <br /> and NAV 4 and Recovery Wells <br /> RW 1, RW 2 and RW 3 <br /> Monitoring Wells NAV 2, NAV 5 Twice Yearly TPH(g) and BTEX <br /> NAV 6, NAV 7 and NAV 8 (In wet and dry <br /> seasons) <br />
