#19,-CCR66262, Satellite (point of generation) accumulation. One full 55-gallon drum of <br /> aerosol cans in the manufacturing area was not marked with the date the drum became <br /> full. A point of generation container must be disposed of within one year of first adding <br /> waste to the container, or 90 days from the date the container becomes full, whichever <br /> occurs first. Dispose of this waste as specified in Title 22 of Code of Regulations and <br /> send the disposal/recycling bill of lading or manifest to the Environmental Health <br /> Department(EHD) by May 13, 2011 <br /> Response: <br /> #19,- (Satellite(point of generation) accumulation). All waste aerosols were immediately <br /> hauled by Shop Hazards Solutions, to GEM-Rancho Cordova for disposal on Hazardous <br /> material waste manifest. Please see attachment#9. <br /> #20,-CCR66262.34 (f), Two containers of partially full of aerosol cans were labeled as <br /> hazardous waste, but did not have an accumulation start date. All hazardous waste <br /> containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all <br /> the required information. Since it cannot be determined how long the two containers have <br /> been on site, immediately contact a hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste <br /> under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by May 13, 2011. <br /> Response: <br /> #20,- (Two containers of partially full of aerosol did not have an accumulation start <br /> date). All Satellite containers have been correctly labeled. All waste aerosols were <br /> immediately hauled by Shop Hazards Solutions, to GEM-Rancho Cordova for disposal <br /> on Hazardous material waste manifest. Please see attachment#9. <br /> #30, One empty container by the ferrous sulfate storage area was not labeled. <br /> Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be <br /> marked with the date they were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. <br /> The empty container was labeled during the inspection. <br />
