The receipts <br /> for laundered rags are required to be kept for three years. Please provide some copies of the 2018 records to the <br /> EHD for review. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 301 CCR 66265.31 Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> According to Sopheak San,the metal shavings are added to the absorbent drum. Metal shavings were observed <br /> pooling on the floor and on the equipment. Sopheak San said that his waste needed to be picked up and that all of <br /> his containers were getting full. Several 5 gallon buckets filled with paper oil filters(overfilled)were observed in the <br /> used oil tank area. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or <br /> release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> Immediately clean the metal shavings area, and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. In <br /> addition, properly secure the paper oil filters to prevent a release. Submit a statement and supporting <br /> documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 403 CCR 66265.173 Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> In the used oil storage area: <br /> -Five 5 gallon plastic buckets containing used paper oil filters were observed without a lid. <br /> -The 500 gallon used oil tank was full and open at the top. <br /> In the pit area: <br /> -One 5 gallon bucket containing paper oil filters was observed without a lid. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately <br /> close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 406 CCR 66261.7 Contaminated container not marked with date emptied or managed within one year of being emptied. <br /> One black 55 gallon drum was observed without an empty label. Containers larger than five gallons that previously <br /> held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed within one year of being <br /> emptied. Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this section. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 501 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label stationary hazardous waste tanks. <br /> The used oil tank label had an illegible accumulation start date. All hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste"and the accumulation start date.
