4. Post themselves at exterior entrances to building to prevent entry; keep doors clear for security <br /> lines. <br /> 5. Check area to ensure evacuation has taken place. Physically check area as well as verbally <br /> announce that the building is being evacuated (i.e. "The building is being evacuated. Is there <br /> anyone in here?"). <br /> 6. Note the number and location of people needing assistance, and type of assistance needed. <br /> Notify the FTC if additional assistance is needed with mobility of people evacuating. <br /> 7. Evacuate themselves using appropriate stairwells/exit routes. Report status to the FTC. <br /> 8. Maintain and complete Area Warden Evacuation Check-list. Turn in form to FTC after incident. <br /> ASSISTANT/ALTERNATE AREA WARDENS <br /> 1. Monitor movement of personnel to the Assembly Areas. <br /> 2. Take initiative to correct any safety concerns that arise en route to Assembly Areas. <br /> 3.
