Mike Infurna ' ' 10 July 1992
San Joaquin County Public Health Services Page 3
RE: Yellow Submarine, Site Code 2514
documentation submitted meets your needs. You have to take our word that the facts
presented are accurate, as there is no way to present them beyond what we have done.
We have included the analytical data you requested with the Chain of Custody
forms. However, as you can see on the Chain of Custody, BTX&E were not run on
the 15' sample; they were only run on the 22' sample. As you know, there was no
odor or soil discoloration evident from the original investigation to the present. We
have included this information as an addendum to this letter. It is also in our report
dated April 2, 1992.
We have included the information for the Health & Safety Plan.
Sincerely,
r '1
Steven J. Furnas, REA Ross R. Grunwald, Ph.D.
WHF Environmental Consultants, Inc. Registered Geologist
SJF/RRG/cdc
Enclosures
cc: Rawlison Reade
Gene Tiscornia
