Mr. Nathan Crum - 2 - 1 February 2006
Valley Pacific Petroleum Services, Inc.
The Central Valley Regional Board concurs with the recommendation to more aggressively remove SPH
accumulating in well MW8. GZA issued a 29 April 2005 letter recommending installation of a product
skimmer in well MW8 if SPH again began accumulating in the well. Valley Pacific should provide a
written response to this letter of their plan to install the product skimmer or other means to more
efficiently collect SPH from the well and an associated implementation schedule by 24 February 2006.
The response should also include a site plan showing the location of soil boring SBA installed in
October 2005 as the location was not shown on site plans submitted in the Second Semi -Annual Report
or the Annual Report.
The next semi-annual monitoring report is due by 1 August 2006. As of October 2005, I have become the
project manager for this site. If you have any questions regarding this letter, you may contact me at (916)
464-4719 or mclardy@waterboards.ca.gov.
?z
V (YAL
MARK W.
