I
Mr. Bruce Woolsey - 2 - 24 December 2004
Valley Pacific Petroleum Services, Inc.
4. Table 1 of the October Report shows four site monitoring wells are dry and have been for about
two years, and that monitoring well MW8 has not been sampled due to the presence of free
product since May 1995. Valley Pacific needs to submit a work plan to replace MW2, MW3,
MW5, and MW6, and develop and implement a free product removal plan that is more
aggressive than the methods currently used.
5. Table 5 included in the October Report does not include all constituents of concern (COCs).
Valley Pacific needs to include COC concentrations on analytical result tables.
By 28 February 2005, please submit a work plan to replace MW2, MW3, MW5, and MW6 and propose
a free product removal plan to supplement and/or replace the current removal activities. By 28 March
2005, provide a well installation report describing the installation of MW 11 including boring and well
development logs and analytical data.
We apologize for the delayed response as we are currently working on new staff assignments. If you
have any questions, you may contact me at (916) 464-4675 or wcohen@waterboards.ca.gov.
WENDY L.
