i ! <br /> C A M B R I A <br /> samples will be labeled, entered onto a cham-of-custody record, and placed into a cooler with ice <br /> for transport to a State of California certified laboratory for analyses A standard two-week turn- <br /> around time will be requested for laboratory results <br /> SVE Well Installation:Borings SVE-I and SVE-3 will be drilled to approximately 35 feet below <br /> grade (fbg), and boring SVE-2 will be drilled to 40 fbg The SVE wells will be constructed using <br /> four-inch diameter Schedule 40 PVC casing Wells SVE-1 and SVE-3 will be screened from <br /> 15 to 35 fbg and well SVE-2 will be screened from 20 to 40 fbg For all the SVE wells, the <br /> sandpack will be placed from the bottom of the well screen up to two feet above the top of the <br /> well screen, followed by a two-foot thick bentonite seal, and cement grout to grade Actual well <br /> construction details will be based on field conditions during drilling Each well will be secured <br /> with a locking cap under a traffic-rated well box <br /> Chemical Analyses: Selected soil samples will be analyzed for TPHg, BTEX, and fuel <br /> oxygenates (MTBE,ETBE, TAME, diisopropyl ether, and TBA)by EPA Method 8260B <br /> Wellhead Survey Activities Following SVE well installation, a licensed surveyor will survey the <br /> . latitude, longitude, and well head elevation of each well <br /> Report Preparation Following the receipt of analytical results from the laboratory, Cambria will <br /> prepare a written report, which will include field procedures, laboratory results, boring logs, and <br /> conclusions <br /> The scope of work described in this work plan will be performed under the supervision of a <br /> registered geologist <br /> SVE Test <br /> Permits: Cambria will contact the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD) <br /> regarding the proposed SVE test, and will provide them with the required notification <br /> Site Safety Plan Cambria will prepare a Site Safety Plan for field work <br /> SVE Pilot Test The objective of the SVE test will be to provide the source area remediation of <br /> residual petroleum hydrocarbons and MTBE Soil vapor will be extracted from wells SVE-1, <br /> SVE-2, and SVE-3,proposed above Initially, Cambria will perform short-term SVE tests on the <br /> • wells Each test will consist of a minimum of three steps at varying vacuum levels to estimate <br /> 0955 5 <br />
