Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility Major <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed approximately ten adult and juvenile cockroaches on the wall and coving tile ledge behind the <br /> unused 3 door reach-in refrigerator. <br /> Immediately take action to remove cockroaches from the facility(pest control provider was called to service the facility). <br /> Maintain pest control provider's service invoices for inspector to review at re-inspection on Friday, May 24, 2019). <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin:rodents(rats,mice), cockroaches,flies.(114259.1, 114259.4, <br /> 114259.5) <br /> #35 Equipment/Utensils Approved and in Good Repair <br /> OBSERVATIONS:There is an unused 3 door reach-in refrigerator in the kitchen. All floor <br /> surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br /> cleanable.Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas,except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br /> unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.
