Geweke Land DevelopmeMarketing - 2 - 18 December 2008
16 S. Cherokee Ln., Lodi
it 0
quarterly until completion of the pilot study. Since annual sampling is conducted on all
wells in the first quarter of each year, only MW-10 (currently annual) will be sampled
ahead of schedule during the second quarter of 2009.
3. After completion of the 6-month pilot study, wells MW-10, MW-11, MW-12, MW-15 will
begin routine annual monitoring (1st quarter): and wells MW-14, MW-16, and EW-1 will
begin routine semi-annual monitoring (1st and 3rd quarter). All remaining wells will
continue on their current sampling schedules.
4. The Lodi Adult School may require that work be delayed until school is out of session
(e.g., the summer of 2009). Since there may be a delay for the fieldwork, please make
contact with the Lodi Adult School and the City of Lodi as soon as possible, to get
access agreements necessary for drilling permits and to coordinate the fieldwork
schedule. You are to provide me with your contacts (names and phone numbers) at
both agencies before final approval to proceed with actual field work will be given.
5. If Lodi Adult School disallows access when school is in session, and you cannot meet
the above due date for completion of work; then you are to request an extension in
writing as soon as possible. Upon my approval of an extension for the startup of the
pilot study, the schedule will be adjusted as appropriate.
6. At any time during the testing, should any adverse conditions be identified, you are to
immediately notify me. We will discuss and determine the appropriate follow up steps
during our discussion.
7. My 28 October 2008 letter also required that the Workplan include a schedule for
implementing the fieldwork, a proposal to stop the onsite ozone injection treatment
system while evaluating the effectiveness of the ORC-A, and a contingency plan to
restart the ozone treatment system if contaminants rebound onsite or offsite. These
requirements were not addressed in the Workplan; therefore, you are to submit a letter
workplan addendum addressing the above Workplan requirements by 2 January 2009.
Please acquire the necessary drilling permits (good for one year), and give the San Joaquin
County Environmental Health Department and myself at least three working days notice before
starting fieldwork. If you have any questions you may contact me at (916) 464-4615 or by
email atjbarton@waterboards.ca.gov.
aures L. L.
